Amit Malviya belongs from Agra, UttarPradesh. He completed his Bachelor in Business Management (BBM) from Dayalbaug Educational Institute of Agra. Then ,he moved to Pune’s Symbiosis College and completed PGDM in Finance in year 2000. After completing education, he worked as an assistant manager in ICIC Bank in Mumbai for four months. In 2001, he worked as an Business Analyst. 2003, he joined HSBC Bank and became the senior vice president and served for 7 years. In 2010, he appointed as the Vice President of Bank Of America. He worked in Bank Of America for 2 years.
During his banking career, Amit Malviya came in touch with BJP in 2009. He created forum to connect intellectuals and named it as ‘Friends of BJP’. He connected lot of people with this forum. When Amit waa working in Mumbai, he met Piyush Goyal who is currently the Minister of Railways in India. He explained the use and advantages of social media and technology, in regular and social life. Seeing his work in technology and growing social media platforms, BJP appointed him as their IT Cell Head.
