Who is the umbrella guy in the Johnny depp and Amber Heard Trial?

Johnny Depp’s trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard turned into an even more bizarre spectacle than the usual on Tuesday as one of Heard’s lawyers questioned whether the witness on the stand communicated with a Twitter user who goes by “The umbrella guy,” one of the biggest Depp’s cheerleaders online.

What Morgan Night said to the jurors in the courtroom- “I have no idea; I do not care or follow the umbrella guy.”  Night, testifying under oath said that he was not familiar with Adam Waldman, one of Depp’s former lawyers.

Night appeared extremely confusing as Heard’s lawyer Elaine Bredehoft said that Waldman often spoke with the umbrella guy. Heard appeared to stifle a laugh at her own attorney’s questions.

“Honestly, this sounds like schizophrenia,” said Night.

Night’s testimony came close to the end of the six-week trial over the lawsuit Depp brought against Heard.

Depp alleges she defamed him as she describes herself as the victim of domestic violence in a Washington Post op-ed.
