About Shanquella Robinson Death Incident
Who the people were that she travelled with and why those so-called friends allowed her to be assaulted while at least one other person stood by to film the fight on tape are two of the increasing concerns that have arisen as a result of the tragic death of a young Black lady in Mexico.
According to the sources, Shanquella Robinson passed away less than twenty-four hours after she and as many as six pals arrived in Cabo at the end of the previous month. The manner in which the woman, who was 25, passed away was the subject of a disproportionately large amount of discussion on social media, despite the fact that her passing itself is a tragedy.
A video that has been circulating online purports to show Robinson being viciously assaulted by another woman in what appears to be a hotel room with a balcony offering a view of a tropical setting. During the one-sided altercation, the woman in the video who has been identified only as Robinson is not shown defending herself. The brief video shows a woman who has been identified as Robinson being struck many times in the head and face, then being thrown to the ground before being subjected to additional blows to the head and face.
It looked that at least two persons were filming the violence, including the one who captured the video that was released on social media and another person whose phone could also be seen capturing the scene. The video was posted on social media.
According to what Salamondra Robinson said to Queen City News, “Each and every one of the persons that was there with her was telling different things.” Despite the fact that an autopsy suggests Robinson was the victim of terrible abuse, officials from the United States Department of State in Mexico have purportedly and bizarrely claimed that a police investigation did not show signs of foul play.
Persons on social media have taken it upon themselves to share the names and images of people who are said to have been with Robinson in Mexico at the time of her death, despite the fact that Robinson’s pals have not been formally identified.
There have been calls on social media for the pals to be arrested and charged for the alleged roles they played in Robinson’s death; however, it is unclear whether or not this can even take place given that the friends are no longer in Mexico.
A video that has been shared on social media purports to depict a man who claims that he arrived in Cabo on his own, one day after Robinson and the other people had already arrived there. On the video, a male who has not been identified can be heard saying that he was told Robinson was suffering from alcohol poisoning and that Robinson claimed he was unaware that there had even been a fight.
Winston Salem State University is a historically Black college, and it is believed that at least one of Robinson’s friends who travelled to Mexico with her also attended this institution. Robinson attended this university.
A death notice for Robinson can be found online, and it states that his funeral will be held in Charlotte on Saturday.
